NMQA Quilt Bank

We also feel truly blessed to have a good supply of quilts on hand. We are always in need of quilters as we’ve recently had some blocks and quilt tops donated to us. Beginning in January we will make these “kitted” quilts available at our meetings for those interested in helping with quilting.
In the New Year we plan to put our heads together and look at ways to get the word out about Quilt Bank so that we can help even more organizations. We are al- ways open to suggestions from our guild members if you have any.

Special Thanks from Quilt Bank:

We’d like to acknowledge the special folks who have so generously given of their time and talents this year with quilting for us. Thanks also go out to those who helped us sort and organize our fabric stash. And more thanks to all those who have pieced orphan blocks, tops, pieced a back and made binding, etc. None of it has gone unnoticed.
Our sincere thanks go out to Bob’s Sewing & Vacuum Center on the Westside. They have so graciously provided us a place to store our supplies along with a spacious classroom to use for our sew-ins. We cannot begin to thank them enough.

Year End Report:

For the 2014 calendar year there were 13 events that used our quilts as a means to raise money for their organization. The following groups held a fund raiser— be it a raffle, silent auction, or live auction:
