This workshop is designed to teach you quick and easy shortcuts for making Fusible Appliqué quilts. Heidi Pridemore will show you the techniques that she uses every day in The Whimsical Workshop studio, covering her favorite tools and how to finish raw appliqué, among other insider tips. This is a techniques class; the project is designed to cover all the different elements of fusible appliqué. The project is small so we can get through all the steps in one class without creating a UFO. There is a $35 required kit fee and just a few items needed for class

Heidi was born and raised in Rochester, NY, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Rochester Institute of Technology. In 2000, Heidi began offering her services as a product designer to a number of fabric companies. She created her own line of quilt patterns beginning in 2002 and in 2004 Heidi started designing fabric in her own bright and whimsical style. By 2005 the workload warranted expanding to a partnership and The Whimsical Workshop, LLC 

Over the decades, she has developed a robust curriculum of fun lectures and workshops for crafters of all skill levels. Her Website www.TheWhimsicalWorkshop.com has 100’s of her patterns available.  Heidi spends most of her time designing and traveling to trade shows, giving lectures and running workshops. When not traveling she enjoys staying at home in Arizona with her husband Matthew.

NMQA Cancellation Policy:  If NMQA cancels a workshop, you will receive a refund of the workshop fee via U.S. mail. However, due to contract obligations with instructors, NMQA is unable to provide refunds if you cancel your participation in a workshop and the Guild is not able to fill your place from a waiting list.
