Beauties Aloft - 2026 NMQA Balloon Quilt Raffle. Designed by Kathy McLaren, Piecing and Appliqué by NMQA Members, Quilting by Sandra Roybal. (75-1/2" W x 86-1/2" L). This year's design is a nod to the 100 Year Anniversary of Route 66 "The Mother Road" in the Albuquerque Sky and the many women pilots in the Hot Air Balloon Industry along with the wife/husband & family teams supporting the industry. The abstract background was created using Polygon 1 and Polygon2 Tools by Gyleen X. Fitzgerald of Colourful Stitches.
