Lincoln Log Cabin
with Barbara Gary
The Lincoln Log Cabin table topper is a fun, easy, and quick project for learning the basic steps to foundation paper piecing and curved piecing. Perfect for a "confident beginner," the Log Cabin foundation paper units are designed using a technique in which part of the pieced block units are cut away after the paper piecing is completed. The cut-a-way sections are replaced with a secondary design element referred to as the circling geese units. This project is designed to be Fat-Quarter friendly, using a combination of (4) light and (4) dark fabrics!
Barbara Gary is a certified Quiltworx instructor from New Mexico -- and a former NMQA president! Cost of the workshop includes the required $25 pattern fee.
